David Buchberger
David Buchberger-Göbl was appointed Chairman of Glasford International in April 2008. He previously held the position of Director of Business Development.
He is currently Managing Director of Munich based Glasford International Deutschland GmbH, our Germany based partner.. David joined the company in 1993 and was appointed Director in 1997. Since then he has successfully developed an executive search organisation with a strong corporate client base and recently established an additional office in Vienna.
A qualified teacher in commerce, business management, industrial and organisational psychology, he has worked extensively in the business consulting area before moving into executive search.
David is a strong exponent of global search agreements and as Director of Business Development he won numerous global preferred supplier contracts for Glasford International with major multi-national organisations.
In his current role, David will focus on the development of our partnership and robust systems and procedures to deliver even greater business growth for Glasford International. He leads Glasford International at an exciting time as we continue to expand a global executive search organiation whose qualities reflect those of our people; honesty, sincerity, integrity, warmth and trust.
David, a keen golfer and staunch Bayern Munich supporter, is married with one son and lives in Munich.
Finance & Legal Director
Miguel Swaen
Miguel Swaen established Glasford International Netherlands over 14 years ago. Prior to joining the executive search industry, he started his career at IBM and held sales management and executive appointments with technology leaders such as Tandem and Hewlett Packard (formerly Synstar Computer Services). Miguel is a graduate of the Agricultural University of Wageningen. He is married and lives in Amsterdam's historic centre.

Marketing Director
Brian Sun
Brian Sun, Managing Partner of Orion China, was appointed in November 2009 to the position of Marketing Director for Glasford International with responsibility for the continued development and delivery of our global marketing and branding strategy. Prior to this role, Brian was formerly in charge of Asia Pacific Business Development and Knowledge Management.
Working hand in hand with the Business Development Team and PR & Advertising Team, the Marketing Team aims to be a bridge with all Glasford Partners to formulate cohesive marketing ideas for the benefit of the entire Group.
Brian is a seasoned professional in the executive search industry for over ten years. Since entering Shanghai in 2000, Brian has built a prolific record of setting up entire management teams for global organizations entering China.
Formally educated in the United Kingdom, Brian has worked globally in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and now Shanghai. Brian is a native Singaporean, fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. He read Modern History at the University of London, Queen Mary College. He is a certified intepretor of Hogan Assessment Systems and HR CHALLY.
Brian is married, with one child and for leisure, practices capoeira (a Brazilian martial art form) as well as being an avid restaurant critic.
Business Development Director
Antti Joutseno
Antti Joutseno was appointed Director of Business Development for Glasford International in April 2008. He is currently President of Konsulttitoimisto Jaakko Lehto Oy , the Glasford International partner for Finland.
Antti graduated in 1981 with a MSc in Law and worked for the Association of Finish Graduate Engineers where he was Head of Law until 1989 and subsequently Senior Vice-President until 1995.
Antti moved into the Executive Search Industry in 1995 and was a Leading Consultant with Jelik Oy until his move to Konsulttitoimisto Jaakko Lehto Oy, where as President, he has continued the development of one of the most well known and industry leading Finnish search consultancies.
Antti is a strong advocate of providing clients with global search capabilities and is intent on adding to the number of global preferred supplier agreements we have in place. He brings strong strategic vision and an entrepreneurial style to the board and will be a key figure in the growth of our operation over the next three years.
Antti, who lives in Tuusula with his partner Sari, enjoys Shooting, Skiing and Motorcycling. His annual biking holidays around Europe on his prized Harley Davidson, are frequent topics of discussion at Glasford International dinners!
